The sounds were recorded on the Rivers Severn and Avon in and around Tewkesbury, Gloucestershire on World Rivers Day 2020, using a Sennheiser Mic and Hydrophone.

These rivers presented a multitude of aspects on that day. The majestic Severn rushing down the weir at Tewkesbury, motor boats chugging along, recorded above and below the surface, a sailing club in full swing and families feeding the ducks on the peaceful River Avon just before it joins the Severn. Rivers as environmental wonders, transport routes, activity centres, playgrounds and home to wildlife.

Just a few of the experiences I noted on this particular day.
